Is your personal relationship to cultural content a factor in your teaching of culture?

I think cultural elements are essential to give a good education or let us say better a complete education. Teaching any language does not mean to teach grammar, listening, writing, speaking, and reading but to teach the general context in which a culture is involved.

I consider that it is really important to know a lot about the culture before you start learning language. When you know many things about the culture you are going to be able to understand the language better and you can give a better method to teaching to your students.

My personal relationship with culture has to do a lot with the methods I am going to teach. It is a main factor when you give classes as when you receive them.
